Emerson, Lake, & Powell
June 1, 1986
The old 70’s group, “Emerson, Lake, & Palmer” made a mid 80’s reunion of sorts, and Carl Palmer didn’t want to participate, so in order to keep the “P” in ELP together, they brought in Cozy Powell.
This version of the band was only together for this album and tour, and broke up right after that.
They had a hit with “Touch & Go”, and Cozy’s famous drum solo was recorded as “Mars, Bringer of War”.
