This is Cozy’s famous drum solo in which he does parts of the 1812 Overture.

Awesome talent. So many great rockers have left us too soon. Saw Cozy at the Hammersmith Odeon with Rainbow in ’77. “The solo” blew me away. Still the best I’ve seen. Keep rockin Cozy…see you in Heaven.
I’ll never forget the night I saw Cozy playing live with Greg Lake and Keith Emerson, of Emerson ,Lake and Powell at the Glens falls civic center in 1986. He brought the freaking house down.So did the rest of the band too.. Killer player. Pounded his drums like thunder all evening long.He is one of the best. God rest his soul. Love you, Cozy. Godspeed brother.

Rest In Peace Cozy- your accurate and grooving drumming with always a killer sound,was a huge influence on me as a rock drummer.
